Feralpals is a story-driven, chapter-based mascot horror game created by Polypaw, with this release being Chapter 01: Old Friends
Chapter 1 is 30 to 45 minutes in length
Available in : English, French, Italian, German, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish (Latin America), and Turkish!
It is hard to say what year it is now. Our world is long gone.
Humanity was wiped out by a pathogen traced back to its own creation: the Friendly Pals. Created through genetic experiments and gifted with human intelligence, they were designed to serve humanity and help build a better future for us.
Instead, they inherited our world. Now left behind, the Pals mimic the society of their dead creators.
Chapter 1
You play as Dan, a little guy who receives an unexpected phone call from his childhood friend Basil, inviting him to an old forest campsite to reunite with friends from the past.
But the forest hides something beneath it. A forgotten past. Buried secrets. Remnants of a world that should no longer exist.
And one impossible question: Is humanity truly extinct?

polypaw with another great game I can’t wait for chapter 2 such an interesting premise and great gameplay visuals!!!I love it so much, it's a pretty good game, I specially love the last scenes, but for some reason I hate Basil, I guess he's the most affected by the brain wash, but I hate him haha

Hello, I made an account just for this game. I wanted to say, if you're trying to make a ps1 styled game, the trees would be 2D and the filter would be more blurry instead of pixelated. The chromatic aberration also wouldn't be present. Along with this, certain models such as trash bags would be lower poly.
I really enjoyed this game! really cool and fun, I would LOVE to see chapter 2, CAN'T WAIT AND KEEP IT UP 10/10

This was a fantastic game and the visuals are a carnival for the eyes! I loved the little cutscene bits I could do like sleeping in the chair and swinging! The car cutscene made me laugh and I am in awe of the visual quality level this game displays. Thank you for making this!

I really enjoyed this. Not a huge fan of chase scenes (because I'm not that great at them lol) but I loved the transition between 3rd person and 1st person gameplay. Here's my video on it if anyone is interested.

I had my feelings turned 180 degrees, also with the kid (Remy). I hated her at first, but then I got worried for her after Basil showed up, not being himself anymore. And you managed to do all that in a short game, so congratulations. I am hoping to see Chapter 2 with more lore about Dan's life, how he ended up in an apartment surrounded by "only families," neighbors, and him still being single. He seems not to know about how humans passed by the way, so I am assuming that he was born many generations after humans died. But anyways! Congrats again, keep doing a good job.

The game keeps crashing on me at the bridge Cut scene.
You’re probably using the “Potato” graphics preset, which maxes out the engine optimization (it’s even labeled “may bug”). Try switching it to Balanced or turning it off.
Otherwise, your device might just be struggling to run it, especially in the forest areas, which can get a bit laggy on older devices
